The models choose the posture, a favourite standing or seating posture as relaxed as possible. During the photographic session we exchange conversations about colours and posture habits, also about their feelings on participating in the project.
I have asked several people to collaborate for this project. They all work or study in this University. I choose people that I have interaction with in order to understand their broad characteristics. The models choose the posture, a favourite standing or seating posture as relaxed as possible. During the photographic session we exchange conversations about colours and posture habits, also about their feelings on participating in the project.
The figures are made in a sketchy manner trying to captivate mostly their body language rather than the face detail. The ultimate result would be to recognise the person that I am depicting by the posture of the sculpture. The information the viewer receives should be equal to a portrait, but in this case, the recognition and the characteristics collectively come from the body language the piece depicts.
